Grow old with me, the best is yet to be” A sign bearing these words hung in Miranda and Dave’s kitchen as the boys attempted the task of pinning their boutonnieres on their lapels. In the hustle and bustle of the moment, my mind barely took notice of the mantra that I would only later realise to be not only a part of Miranda and Dave’s vows but a sentimental Earley secret. It was a proverb that the original Mr and Mrs Earley shared in their own marriage. I’ll admit that I did tear a little hearing Dave’s mum re-tell it’s background story.

Miranda and Dave were a delight to work with. Miranda was glowing the whole day, beaming ear to ear in every shot, while Dave’s tearing eyes at his first look of his beautiful bride made our job so easy! Even the weather couldn’t rain on their parade, these two were so ready to get married and start their lives as Mr and Mrs!

Congratulations Miranda and Dave!

I can still remember the moment when we found out our good friend Sabrina got engaged. Agus took Sabrina on a magical hot air balloon ride and it was in the air that he asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. We were so excited to hear the happy news and went straight into wedding planning mode. I got the privilege of helping to design the invitations too - in purple of course!

We had just started making videos as First Look Productions in June last year, but Sabrina had faith in us and booked us right away. We’re so thankful for your trust in us :) We hope that you enjoy the video!

"Marriage in this day and age is far from easy. With all the external pressures of day-to-day life, you will need to grow together a mutual trust and understanding, whilst not forgetting what first brought you together. In other words, may love for each other be modern enough to survive the times and be old fashioned enough to last forever."

Those were the last few sentences of the best man’s speech.

When we first met Chelsea and Jake a few weeks before the wedding, we were instantly at ease with the friendliness of conversation and good humour - we knew it was going to be a good Saturday! The heat had subsided, replaced with a breath of fresh air and a sense of calm. We were thrilled to be a part of the day, and hopefully this video reminds all who were there of those special moments that will be cherished forever.

Congratulations Chelsea and Jake!
